This beautiful coin commemorates 2000 geocaches found by me, Pengwinldy. Since these coins go MIA all the time, I am sending out a proxy. The real one is displayed on my desk at home, next to my 1000 find geocoin and some of my other favorites.

TNT Series #4-Big Palm… Lil’ Palm: After exploring the Historic District we headed back to the car which was parked nearby. Had to grab one more Cache-it was so close. Started looking at the wrong tree at first and almost gave up then I laid eyes on the attachment device.

Mission 74: I wouldn’t recommend looking for this one on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of muggles to dodge. We were looking in the wrong spot and bailed because I felt too conspicuous. We went across the street to peek at the mission then came back and decided to try again. This time with success.

North County Coastal Hall of Fame: Got up early today and drove to work along they coast, grabbed this cache and enjoyed watching the surfers before I started my day. So beautiful out today.

4:10 to Bear Valley Rd: Not much time for my COTD today but I knew I could grab this on my lunch break. It did not disappoint. When I got back to work my co-worker said, “I thought you were going caching? Why are you back so soon?”

Happy Dog Resting Under a Sumac: So I had been here twice before and logged a couple of DNFs. Today I hiked to GZ and knew where it was hidden from 10 feet away. I have no idea why I didn’t see that before.

Give Thanks: I am thankful for friends who will go caching with me even though they have already found all the caches on the route. I am also thankful for all the rain we had this year and all of the stunning wildflower beauty all around!
