Rutt and Tuke were dropped off at the 1st Annual, International Geo-Caching Social on May 22, 2004.
Once they enter Canada - keep them there! We've had enough of them.

They would like to travel across Canada to British Columbia. So please help them on their journey.

    Rutt is now camped out in British Columbia...hopefully for longer than 1 day this time! The little guy really gets around given that his legs work sideways and not forward and back.

    • Octapus Beach Cache. Rutt checks out this cute little harbour near his new home at the Octapus Beach cache. Very idyllic and much more preferable than downtown Vancouver!

    Considered leaving Rutt here because it's such a nice place. Took his picture which I'll post later. However, this isn't really a busy cache due to its location so I'll pick him up again.

    • Wallace Island, British Columbia. Took Rutt on a little ocean paddle. Rutt is seen here enjoying the ocean views near the Cabin Bay cache on Wallace Island.

    Off on a trip. Pictures later.

    • Banff National Park. Rutt stopping to enjoy the views in Banff on the way west towards British Columbia.
    • Vancouver, British Columbia. Rutt makes it to Vancouver! This is looking across False Creek towards downtown. But this isn't any kind of a place that a moose should be. So he won't be staying.
    • Spirit of Vancouver Island. Rutt waiting in Tsawwassen to board the Spirit of Vancouver Island, one of BC Ferry's nice superferries. This will take him to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island.
    • Ganges harbour, Saltspring Island. Rutt checks out Ganges harbour after arriving on Saltspring Island. Saltspring Island is one of the Gulf Island between Vancouver Island and the BC mainland.
