Rutt and Tuke were dropped off at the 1st Annual, International Geo-Caching Social on May 22, 2004.
Once they enter Canada - keep them there! We've had enough of them.

    Found him!!! We picked Rutt the Moose up at the Noggin Cove Head Cache. We were so excited to find this little guy. His tag said he is headed for British Columbia..so we decided to bring him along on our travels to Alberta this month to help him get a little closer! We will take pictures of Rutt's adventure West and post them!

    Found this fellow trying to beat his way out of the cache, so we decided to help him along. We'll see about getting him a bit further west.

    We came home the other night to find Rutt TB in our front livingroom. We have had moose in the front yard nibbling trees and moose in the backyard just passing through but this was a first. It seems he was brought home as a present from points east. It has been a wild couple of days. A fine animal that likes to pose for photos and at other times he is a bit excitable. We had Rutt out for a mountain bike ride where he got to see some Newfoundland Moose tracks. After that he seemed a bit depressed and was heard to mumble "I may be a fine and big animal but look at the impressions that the local moose leave". Given an opportunity Rutt recovered enough to pose in front of Gander Airport for a photo. Eventually the time came for him to hopefully travel on by cooling his heels (all four) near the shores of Gander Lake. Have fun Rutt,we'll be watching.
