The Beginning of the Journey

This is a Southern Pacific Diesel Locomotive #9725. The actual full-size locomotive was built in May 1991. It was renumbered to UP 5824 4/28/98 and to UP 2024 2/4/02. Please share any other information in the logs.

She took a ride on the Disney World train in Orlando. The engine will ride more rails this week. Then it will be placed in another cache.

We took a trip up to The Great Smoky Mountains Railway to ride the rails with this Locomotive. Our stop was the Dillsboro station in NC. Sadly, the train no longer runs there... :-( So we brought her down to Atlanta and placed her in a cache near the Amtrak line in Suwanee GA.
