This is a Southern Pacific Diesel Locomotive #9725. The actual full-size locomotive was built in May 1991. It was renumbered to UP 5824 4/28/98 and to UP 2024 2/4/02. Please share any other information in the logs.

This cache is located very close to where the old Greenville and Northern Railway used to run by. Sometimes while listening to the nearby waterfalls, you can almost here the whistles of these by gone trains.
