Following in the footsteps of Hugh Glass, the goal of the promotion is for the Geocaching community to find “The Revenant Movie Trackable” prop packages and take them to some place incredible. We’re excited to see The Revenant props travel to extreme locations, face the unknown and survive the harsh winter wilderness. Join the hunt and discover lost treasures from The Revenant.
Inspired by true events, The Revenant is an immersive and visceral cinematic experience capturing one man’s epic adventure of survival and the extraordinary power of the human spirit. In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption. The Revenant is directed and co-written by renowned filmmaker, Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel).
This winter, in association with Geocaching HQ, Twentieth Century Fox Filmed Entertainment has hidden a series of artifacts from The Revenant movie in select cities across The United States, Mexico, Europe and Australia. Twenty “The Revenant Movie Trackable” prop packages have been hidden for the Geocaching community to find and discover lost treasures from the film. As the movie props travel from location to location, Geocachers are encouraged to log their find and place it in a new geocache to continue the movie prop’s journey. Geocachers are also encouraged to share their find via social media by posting a photo of their find using #TheRevenant.

Discovered this amazing TB in an 'epic' Blair County 5.0/5.0 cache. As the previous discoverers have noted, seems like it should stay here for a bit longer. What other cache around offers such an equally-appropriate home for it?

This was a awesome TB to move. I hosted a event where we went to view the movie.
Today, I placed it in my 5/5 cache, Mountains & Hikes. It's a 14 mile trek to get the final. Figured it's fitting. If Hugh Glass can handle 200 miles, you can handle 14. Thanks for the fun TB!!

This TB was at a dinner meet n greet. Then it went to the movies to see what else!? The Revenant! I now have a good place to drop it. I've enjoyed traveling with this cool prop TB.
