A Dr. Suess-Themed Travel Bug

HISTORY

 

This TB was launched in March 2007 after our mother expressed a keen interest in geocaching with her first outing in Arizona. As such, this TB was put together so she could watch its movements from Florida to Minnesota as it made its way to my brother's house. Unfortunately, it didn't make it to Minnesota by October 16th, my brother's birthday. Since we knew that Mom's health was failing, the whole family decided to meet in Minnesota for Christmas so we could spend some time together as a complete family. We then changed the goal so that the TB might show up for our family get-together, but it was still unable to make it in time.

 

Unfortunately, our Mother has since passed away before the TB could be delivered, so we would like for the Travel Bug to return back to Tampa, Florida please, since the tracking part of its mission is no longer viable. Thank you very much for any help you could provide so this little guy can come home...

 

 

 

 

ORIGINAL MISSION STATEMENT

I was especially made, to bring happiness and joy. To a special someone, who was once a little boy.
If I could get there, a bit before Halloween. This would be nice, his birthday is October Sixteen.
Please help me to travel, as best as you can. And help out my owners, with their fun little plan.
If pictures you take, while I'm on my way. They would be wonderful, to show on his birthday.

 

 

Well, this little guy didn't make it in time for my brother's birthday on October 16th, but if it could make it to Minnetonka, Minnesota for the big Christmas family reunion, all is not lost. As a matter of fact, if he could make it to the West Metro TB Inn (GCHAKR) in nearby Plymouth by the week of Christmas, that would be the greatest, because the whole GodinDraak troupe will be staying at a hotel within walking distance from there.

Unfortunately, I still didn't make it to Minnesota in time for the second goal. My owners even went looking for me and found the cache in Minnesota they had mentioned above hoping I might be in the container, but wasn't logged. Sadly, I wasn't there... Perhaps I will pop back up on the radar soon.

To those that were wondering, the Cat in the Hat trackable did indeed make it to Minnesota. We were able to send it to my brother and fellow cacher, who lives there. Imagine his surprise when he cracked open the Thing 1 and Thing 2 red box (at our direction) and discovered a Doctor Suess silver collectible pocket watch and fob concealed inside.

I incorrectly logged this little guy into Zlithering Zues's TB Hotel! I am aware of the TB's need to travel back to Tampa and have the address of the owner to send him back to! I apologize for any distress that my error may have caused, especially after promising the owner to mail the bug back home! Thanks to the owners of Zlithering Zues's for alerting me that I had dropped a bug that was not present in their cache!

Traveling once again, my goal has been altered;
I didn't make it to Minnesota, because I kinda faltered.
I need to go back to Tampa, on the west side of the state;
Heading to my owner's home, which seems to be my fate.
It's time to go back home, back from where I came;
Please help me to return, to the ending of my game...
