Geopian is a term that has been coined to describe someone who geocaches and spends time on neopets.com. Both activities are highly addicting. Stump, Mrs. Stump, CachinCutie and Geodude! all have accounts on
neopets.com, so we know!
In Neopia you can adopt or create up to four pets, which you are then responsible for feeding and entertaining. It takes points to keep your pet happy, which you can acquire by playing games, becoming a shopkeeper, playing the neopian stock market, or collecting freebies around neopia.
You know it’s serious when adults start buying Happy Meals at McDonalds when the prize is a neopets with a petpet and virtual prize code. The 2005 summer promotion happened to be during our 1000 mile drive from Washington
to California for vacation, and we ate virtually every meal at McDonalds collecting neopets. I saved the petpets (pets for the neopets) attached to the neopets for this travel bug.
The goal of the travel bug is to travel around, visiting fellow neopians.
