This Travel Bug is a participant in a Race!! - The Travel Bug with the largest distance traveled between June 10th, 2005 and June 10th 2006 will win the race. The race is run under the subject "Calçada Portuguesa", which is a type of decorative pavement from Portugal we hope to divulge. Objectivo:

Este TB pertende ser a referência aos trolhas e calceteiros que são a mão de obra e que constroí as belas calçadas e quem nas pedreiras parte a pedra em busca da pedra perfeita para calcetar praças, ruas, avenidas e jardins.

A escolha do tijolo prende-se com a importância da mão de obra e dos materiais portugueses na costrução civil por esse mundo fora. Estão nos cinco continentes e alguns importantes edifícios são a referência. Mais recentemente estiveram também presentes em paises mais necessitados abalados por guerras e terramotos, como o Iraque após a guerra.

Depois de terminada a corrida a 2ª missão deste TB é percorrer os países onde os trabalhadores portugueses e os materiais portugueses estão presentes na construção civil.

Goal:

This TB intends to be the reference to 'trolhas' and 'calceteiros' that are the hand of beautiful workmanship and that it constructs the sidewalk and who in the quarries has broken the rock in search of the perfect rock to calcetar squares, streets, avenues and gardens.

The choice of the brick is arrested with the importance of the workmanship hand and of the Portuguese materials in civil construction for this world it are. They are in the five continents and some important buildings are the reference. They had more recently been also gifts in paises more needed shaken by wars and terramotos, as Iraq after the war.

After finished the race 2ª mission of this TB is to cover the countries where the Portuguese workers and the Portuguese materials are gifts in the civil construction.
