To travel to bicycle friendly caches especially caches along bike trails or along roads that bicycles frequent. Please only place this coin in caches that appear to be inviolable. I'd like to see it travel safely. Since bicycling is a worldwide sport and form of transportation I hope it travels worldwide. If it could travel to one of the cities that hosts the Tour de France that would be tremendous. Take a picture of your bicycle and post it with your entry. I hope to see all kinds of bikes.
This special coin represents one of my favorite pastimes - bicycling - which is especially amenable to caching. This coin is letting people know that a wonderful paved trail of over 100 miles has been built between Grand Rapids, MN, and Ely, MN. While there are locations on the north-easternmost part of the trail yet to be constructed, there are over 100 miles of very scenic paved trails waiting for you to ride. Check out more information at www.mesabitrail.com. There are over 50 caches along the trail with more being added all the time.
