FIRST GOAL COMPLETE! This bug has arrived at the cache "Tracer" GC7528, which is near my Opapa's birthplace of Arnhem. The journey took 1 year and 7 months to complete. THANK YOU to everyone that made the journey possible. It really means a lot to me. A special THANKS to MUMZLE and BLAZEZ for your outstanding help during my bug's journey. Cachers are the BEST PEOPLE!
CURRENT GOAL- 28, June, 2007: To return to Big Bear Lake, California to my cache GCXW5N "Bristlecone Trail".
This Travel Bug is in honor of my grandfather, My Opapa. He was born in Arnhem, The Netherlands in 1902. After WWI, he emigrated to the United States. He attended Cornell University to become an architect. He moved to San Diego,California where, to this day, there are many homes and buildings that he designed and built. Unfortunately, he passed away before I was born, but he is always with me in my heart. In 1978 I visited Arnhem, it is such a beautiful place, as is all of The Netherlands. Good Luck Opapa!
