Geocache Description:

Muitah’s 3rd cache will take you for a walk through some of Ballarat’s more Treacherous terrain. Hill come valley, the area demonstrates the enormous affects gold mining had on the Ballarat landscape.

The best approach to the cache can be found at: S 37° 32.967 E 143° 52.462. From here follow the road to the end and park your car. From here follow the walking path down the steps.

While the cache is only a few hundred metres away, the terrain is by no means pleasant and can be unforgiving when wet. Hence old clothes and hiking boots are the order of the day.

Cache is a large industrial container camouflaged for its surrounds. Your GPSR should put you within 12m of the cache. Happy Caching!
