The cache is at the top of the Okuku Pass, about 8km once you leave the tarseal.
The cache is now a 500ml round container kindly replaced for us by Jude E. (Thank You) The road to the cache is smooth up to the logging turnoff - after that there are a few potholes and dips. In fine weather it would be no bother for any car. Once you reach the top of the pass you just need to get out and grab the cache.
