Geocache Description:

This cache is by Irishmans Creek just below the Tekapo B Canel road.

This cache honors Sir William Hamilton OBE who invented the Jet Boat in 1954 he owned the Irishmans Creek farm close by.. he tried his new boat in the water races and the Irishman Creek dam before heading to the Waitaki River.

The cache is a 800ml snaplock container hidden at ground level.... it has a few swaps in it.

The road in could be a bit rough in a normal car.. if so it is only a 900m easy walk..
