South Head (Kaipara Harbour, Auckland) Traditional Cache

The cache is located at the end of South Head looking out into the Kaipara Harbour. It is approached by walking down the walkway to the beach at Mosquito Bay.

You will have to keep an eye on the tides, but if you don't mind getting your feet wet it is all good. May require a bit of rock jumping if high tide.

It will be a bit of a scramble getting from the beach to Ground Zero, but it is do-able. Cache is about 10 metres from water mark.

The cache is a green container with geocaching.com written on it. It is about 200ml in size.
