A piece of our history. Built by the convicts in 1830 as part of the Great North Road, to connect Sydney to Newcastle. This section of road was still dirt until 1989 but is now sealed and carries more traffic than it was originally built for. A lot of history in this area that is not neccessarily viewable, but can all be discovered on the internet.
