This log-only micro cache is located in a small park very close to
the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre, Paris. The terrain
could be difficult for some if walking up the butte but there are
other ways up the hill, -the funicular being the most popular.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS IN THE
CACHE!!! It will only jam the small container.
Montmarte is one of the most beautiful and popular areas in Paris.
It has been home to some legendary artists including Picasso, Van
Gough, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, Utrillo and Soutine. Today
artists still flock to the area as do con artists wanting to draw
your portrait, so beware. The cache gives you great views of
surrounding Paris as well as unusual views of the beautiful
Sacre-Coeur. Give yourself some extra time to visit the basilica as
well as all the sights in the area such as the Lapin Agile, the
Montmarte Museum and the last remaining vineyard in Paris.
The cache is a small breath mint container painted grey. To open
cache gentley snap off the end. It measures only 4cmX3cmX1cm and it
contains only a log sheet, so bring a pen. Please replace exactly
how you found it to keep it well hidden and protected from the
elements.
Please note that the park is closed at dusk (1700). Thanks to our

us!
