The posted coordinates are the starting point for a test of your GPS navigation, observation and caching skills. Along the way, you will answer questions, find a cache or two, determine the coordinates of a nominated object and work out the coordinates of the final location. Teams will depart at regular intervals and the course should take about 2 hours to complete, so you won’t want to be late.
The final location is not far away, and is equipped with BBQs, playground facilities, toilets and change rooms (geopets are not allowed though).
You will need:
• GPS (Do you know how to use all its functions? They might be useful)
• Smile and sense of humour
• Pen and paper
• (Melbourne) Street Directory
• Calculator
• Mobile phone (in the event you wish to consult the helpline)
• BYO food and drink
Please post a note if you can make it so we can plan for numbers taking part. We look forward to seeing you on the day.
