Mount Major's altitude is about 1330m! At the top there is an amazing trig. It looks as though it has been there since the mountain was formed! It is made from rather large rocks! It is a mystery - as it would have taken considerable effort to build, and I can see no useful purpose that it would have provided. There are no roads up to here, so anyone would have had to come on foot to build the trig.
There are some very nice views along the way!
Bring plenty of water!
