Bulli Pass Traditional Cache

Bulli Pass, a scenic and historic route carved into the Illawarra Escarpment, has served as a vital connection between the Illawarra coastal plain and Sydney since the 19th century. Climbing to an elevation of 283 meters (928 feet), this iconic pass offers more than just breathtaking views. I fondly recall driving up and down Bulli Pass in the 1970s in my trusty Holden Kingswood Ute, expertly navigating its steep, winding roads. 

To locate the cache, keep an eye out for a pull-over area along the road. Once you’ve safely parked, you’ll only need to take a few steps to find the cache on the guard-rail.
