Curlewis is a bounded rural locality of the City of Greater Geelong local government area on the Bellarine Peninsula. At the 2021 census, Curlewis had a population of 4,175.
Its surrounding suburbs are Drysdale, Leopold and Wallington, with waterfront access to Port Phillip Bay to the north.
The Portarlington highway end of Curlewis road provides a good parking spot for those wishing to walk or cycle along the railtrail in either direction.This road connects the Bellarine Hwy with the Portarlington Hwy.
A quick park and grab but take care to park well off the road for safety as a bit of traffic comes down here.
