I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream on International Ice Cream Day!!!!
There are many important days celebrated across the year, and yet somehow I didn't know about this one! Whilst perhaps not designed for Australian weather, it is never too cold for ice cream and a chance to catch up with fellow cachers.
International Ice Cream day started in 1984 in the USA when President Reagan proclaimed that the third Sunday in July would be Ice Cream Day. To take it a step further, he then also proclaimed July as Ice Cream Month, so best you start training for this event by visiting the nearest freezer.
What is your favourite flavour? Feel free to comment in your will attend Is it butterscoff, dairy free black forest, or maybe you are more a boysenberry cheesecake sort of person. (or maybe it's all three balanced precariously ontop of each other!).
WHERE?
2:30pm - 3:00pm, Sunday 17 July
974 Main Rd, Eltham
The event will be held at the outdoor area behind the Midway Arcade in Eltham, which just so happens to be in very close proximity to an ice creamery to get your celebratory treat! For the first 5 people to arrive - your ice cream is on me! There is plenty of parking nearby and Eltham train station is across the road.
I look forward to seeing you there!
