Geocache Description:

DO NOT GO ONTO THE ROAD (M1) - IT IS NOT REQUIRED, DANGEROUS AND JUMPING FENCES. You do not need to climb, go in water etc.

Opened in 1973, the 616m Brooklyn Bridge was built for the M1 motorway. It consists of 3 lanes in each direction. It is the first bridge in the world to be built with open steel trough girders.

The Peats Ridge Bridge next to it was built before the M1 was in use but the Peats Ridge Bridge is still used today and unlike the Brooklyn Bridge allows bicycles and pedestrians to cross.

The cache is located in a nice rest stop area for the M1 and is away from muggles. Should be a fairly easy find.
