**** Warning ****
Heat stress is a real danger for this hike / geocache.
Temperatures on the trail are often 10 degrees hotter then the temperature in the carpark! A minimum of 3 to 4 litres of water is required, good walking shoes, hat and loose clothing appropriate for hiking in hot weather is a must.
It is not recommended to walk this trail after 8am during the hotter months (November to March) as temperatures are often between 35 - 50 degrees celcius on the trial.
Hikers have died on this trail - don't become one of them. If you feel like you are experiencing heat stress, feel disorientated, nauseous or dehydrated, drink more water, cool down in the river and call 000 for emergency assistance.
Stay safe and enjoy the views!

Welcome to the Kalbarri National Park Loop Trail!
The trail itself starts about 500 metres from the carpark and about 50 metres from Nature's Window the most iconic photo opportunity on the Murchison river in the Mid West-Gascoyne region. After enjoying the amazing views from the trail running along the ridge you decend down a steep rocky section and arrive at the river bed of the Murchison River.
This geocache is hidden about 50m from the trail along the river bed to the east. Don't forget to log your find and tell us what items remain in the cache!
It is now the perfect opportunity to enjoy a swim in the river or rest in the shade while a decision is made whether to continue the rest of the loop (total 8km) or head back the way you came (total 6km).
The Kalbari National Park has some of the best views in the country but please minimise your footprint and take all you rubbish with you. Rock piles and scratching names into trees or rock faces threaten to defile this pristine environment.
Enjoy! 😁
