Welcome to the Te Puke Revival Series. This series of caches have been placed around eight iconic and scenic locations in Te Puke by the Bay of Plenty Revival Fellowship. We are a spirit-filled christian church located in Te Puke but we also love to geocache! So please enjoy our tour of the kiwifruit capital of the world with a bit of a spiritual twist!
The Te Ara Kahikatea Pathway is a Te Puke community-led project begun in 2011. The proposed Cycleway/Walkway will traverse 4 local reserves & ultimately continue down the Kaituna River taking in several wetlands projects before meeting the sea at Maketu. Since the official opening in April 2018 the 4 kilometre walk has been used by many locals and visiting walkers, cyclists and dog owners. As you enter the walk from this entrance, on your right you would be remiss to notice a beautiful garden taking shape where it is rumoured over 20,000 daffodil bulbs have been planted. Former owners of Te Puke's famous 'Looking Glass Gardens' up Quarry Road sold up and moved here and have created the beginnings of a gorgeous garden which will be enjoyed by walkers on Kahikatea all year round. The cache is nearby to the fence which overlooks 'Tinkerbells Garden'. But don't cross over the fence, the fairies might get you!
