Taralga Trek Too: Mt Rae Rd Traditional Cache

This series will take you along the Laggan - Taralga Rd. 

This country road is 29 kilometres long, and now fully sealed. It provides an increasingly important route for locals between the 2 towns, but more importantly to travellers looking for alternative routes between Canberra and Bathurst or the Blue Mountains.

This road is fast becoming a favourite for motorcyclists and drivers, looking to spend a few hours travelling the Goulburn-Taralga-Crookwell loop, due to its sweeping curves, good road surface and pleasant country views.

Placed near the junction of a country lane heading to the locality of Mount Rae, this cache is a medium sized plastic container hidden in the grove of trees. It is not at the Telstra marker, but it is close.
