chof_hoe: The time has come to archive this cache - it needs more attention than it once did. Hopefully another CO can place a new cache to continue to bring people to this nice spot.

This cache will take you to Mt Aitken, a little hill with 360 degree views, and some nice rock formations to lounge on while you enjoy the landscape. Be careful to keep an eye on the houses though - they seem to be moving up the hill at a rapid rate!
To the north and east, you will be able to watch Craigieburn grow before your very eyes, and across to Mt Ridley.
To the south and southwest, there are sweeping views over Melbourne and it's northern suburbs.
To the south is also Greenvale reservoir, a significant piece of Melbourne's water infrastructure, which feeds the water tanks and pumping station to the north.
To the south west, you can watch aeroplanes landing at Melbourne Airport in Tullamarine.
To the west, you can see the Macedon Ranges.
THE CACHE
The cache is a small container with a logbook and pencil, no room for swaps. Please take the time to place it back as you found it. As always, please bring a pen just in case. Feel free to log your favourite part of the view!
