You're looking to extract a bison tube from it's hidey hole. It might be able to be extracted in other ways, however please do not try this.

Tools of the trade - Magnetic extender

Some caches lie tantalisingly out of reach and require tools to get them.  You know that you have come across many of these even a fish hook on a string I suppose could be used here, but it's been made for a magnetic extender.

This handy tool is telescopic and can extend generally up to about a metre and has a strong magnet on the end.

It can easily grab mint tins and other metallic items, and even bison tube ring holders (hint hint!)

If you're caching, don't leave home without one!
