If you have already found Team Ladava's The Old Water Towers - Revisited ... then you will know about the water towers in Sunbury. No doubt positioned there to ensure the steam trains had enough 'juice' tackle this climb. Thanks to Team Ninja for confirming that this grade (1 in 50) is the steepest main line grade you will find anywhere. You may find 1 in 30 on branch lines... which is pretty steep.
It's a nice spot for a view down toward Mount Macedon, and if you time it right you might be able to see a train come or go...
NOTE : Don't go near/on or otherwise touch the signal tower... it's not there. ALSO there is no need to lift the concrete lid on the train signalling infrastructure, please don't do that.
This is our first cache - inspired by the work of some other Sunbury COs.
It's an open area, with houses nearby and walkers etc... so people to shield might be useful?
Contains some trinkets from Japan for FTF!
>> Congratultions Team HurriKane on FTF.
Plenty of room for swaps.
Parking is a challenge on the Skyline... suggest a side road and walking over.
