Now no more than a name, this was once a community by the old railway line that ran from Hammond to Carrieton.Moockra means " Large Rock", and it can be found on a hill near Pekina. There once was a Hall here, a General Store and a school up until 1964. There was a siding here. There are two streets, High Street and Railway Terrace, a private house and a plaque.Enjoy the drive in
