Geocache Description:

This second of 4 caches in the MVB Baranduda EasyWalk series is in another gully at 285 metres elevation in the northern end of Parklands Baranduda.

Access is off the service road (fire track) behind the houses.

Access: 1. You can park at Mongan Court and walk up a broad drainage reserve to a chicane gate and then on to the fire track. 2. This cache can also be accessed from the top of Echidna court - walk up the footpath to another broad drainage reserve on the right leading to and through another chicane gate to gain access to the fire track. From MVB Baranduda Easywalk #1 you can also head north and follow the contour - in this case the cache is on the south side of this gully.
Distance from MVB Baranduda Easywalk #1 is about 600 metres and from Mongan Court about 1.1km This gully was revegetated in the 1970s by the Albury Wodonga Development Corporation and is a fine example of a successfully restored grassy woodland environment.  GZ is on the south side of a gully on the northern end of Baranduda Range. This is Baranduda Parklands managed by Parklands Albury Wodonga and Baranduda Landcare who have carried out works to restore this high conservation value remnant grassy forest. - dogs allowed so bring the geopooch along for some great exercise!
