This species was first discovered in this spot in 2009 on Crown land in Tucabia and small pockets of the weeping paperbark have since been discovered in other parts of the lower Clarence Valley. This is a lovely reserve created to protect the endangered trees and features only Australian natives, many planted purposefully to enhance the space. There are myriad birdlife to be discovered here, and mozzies too! The reserve is a lovely place where visitors may enjoy the flora and fauna. The reserve is really in its infancy, with more facilities planned as funding becomes available, but picnic tables have already been placed throughout for visitors' convenience.
