What: Geocaching Flashmob-Event
When: 31st August 2014 - 13:00 (that's 1pm)
Where: Southbank Melbourne
Why: Because we can
We've all seen the funny banana video and this is what we're going to do. It should be a bit of fun and gets you going for the rest of the day.
- Before 13:00: just rock up at the south-side and have a chat with your fellow geocachers. Introduce yourself and be social
- At 13:00: When you hear somebody shout "BANANA!" look where the person is pointing and shout "BANANA!" as well
- Run towards the banana and keep on shouting "BANANA!" (yes it's moving)
- When you get there, smile and continue to be social ... and make your way to Ponyfish Island for a drink

FAQ:
Is there a logbook? No there is no logbook. Events don't require a logbook.
Can I win anything? Besides a good laugh? Not really.
Who will get the FTF? It's not a race. Everyone can claim a FTF.
... a little bit of background:
At the OZ Mega Flash Mob earlier this year, I rocked up with my complete camera gear and as it turned out the official photographer got lost. Oh well someone has to take over the job and of course I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a selfie. I hope this time somebody else can take a similar stupid picture.

I really can't keep you from dressing up as a minion.

I had an event this date last year celebrating the best month I ever had in caching. August. Awesome August.
Last year I was in NZ caching with my good friend Jeff (aka Looking4thebroc aka L4TB) .
This year he's moving to Canada and I am in Melbourne.
Since moving here I have been caching with some awesome new friends (who all better turn up) and am celebrating August by being myself and doing crazy things to get icons. You will all know how by the end of the day.
