Geocache Description:

I was out on a maintenace run when I noticed this well kept little country church and wondered why there was no cache there.

It was donated by the residents of Tapawera and the surrounding Districts, I guess to the Anglican Diocese of Nelson.

A plaque says that the foundation stone was laid by the fifth Bishop of Nelson, Rt. Rev. Hilliard, on 8/5/1937. The church was later consecrated in 1958.
