While some Geocachers may find this challenge very easy, others may find it very hard to achieve. For some it may require long periods of dedication and perseverance. Also, for some, it may require moving out of their comfort zone.
The length of time you have been Geocaching may be important, but for others this may be a disadvantage!
Please take this challenge in the fun spirit that it has been created with. This challenge has not been deliberately designed to exclude or discriminate against any Geocachers, but to create a sense of achievement when you reach certain goals.
The objective of this challenge is to find a cache in each 10Km interval from a cache placed closest to where you live up to a distance of 1000Km. That's 100 caches, one each in the following distance intervals (Kilometres):
• 0.00 - 9.99
• 10.00 - 19.99
• 20.00 - 29.99
• ... etc, etc, etc ...
• 980.00 - 989.99
• 990.00 - 999.99
The coordinates above will take you to a familiar hide and then using some Cacher's magic you can sort out where the final cache is (ammo tin). Stick to the trails and you should be fine.
I am really getting annoyed of Cacher’s submitting their list of qualifying caches without them personally checking the list. It can take me an hour or two to check a cachers submitted list of qualifying caches .
Thank-you for your understanding in this matter.
Happy hunting

Now for the Fine Print;
Rules and Requirements:
(1) So, to reiterate, to log a FIND, please be prepared to list a cache found in EACH 10Km radius from a cache placed closest to where you live. (We don't need to know where you live; just need a reference point to ensure you have completed the CHALLENGE.) So that is a cache found and logged for EACH 10km out to a distance of 1000Km.
(1.1) Exception: after Grahame Cookie's consultation with much more experienced Cacher’s than ourselves, for those who live in the more remote areas, we are proposing his following exception: You may subtract the WHOLE thousand(s) of kilometre(s) off more distant caches to make up for the absence of caches in those required zones, BUT, only up to 25% of the caches submitted could be of that type. For example, a cache found at 1,252km, or 2,320km, or 3,330km for example only, would have the thousands of kilometres removed, and then the cache would be used for the appropriate remainder zone.
(1.2) If you have completed any other Well Travelled Challenge IE: NT, WA, SA, or QLD caches, you may use any cache placed as the reference point to measure from for this series of 10km radii. But you then would need to supply a FRESH List of appropriate caches.
(2) All rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a cache find on Geocaching.com apply. These caches must be physical type caches with logbooks that are listed on Geocaching.com that you have personally found. Event caches, CITOs, Earthcaches, and Virtual caches will NOT be allowed.
(3) Caches found prior to the creation of the "The Well Travelled Cacher: Vic" are definitely allowed.
(4) The posted coordinates for each cache will be used to determine which 10Km zone a particular cache is located, including multi and puzzle caches.
(5) You must sign the physical logbook at the cache in Moe.
(6) To verify your claim for this challenge cache, in your 'Found' log, you must submit the GC code of the closest cache to home (This cannot be used in the list). Your list of caches in the following format; the 10Km zone, cache type, cache name, the GC code, the date you logged a find, for each of the required 10km radii, unless you have included a link to a Public Bookmark.
(7) Any 'Found' logs that do not comply with the rules and requirements or do not provide a list of caches found for verification will be deleted.
The idea for this cache comes from a cache of Elin Carlson, EMC of Northridge, CA - GC2KN8Z, "The Well-Travelled Cacher (bthomas) Challenge L.A."
** This is a Premium Member only cache, (visit link)
** (With elements from the "The Well Travelled/Well Aged Cacher Challenges:" NT, (visit link)
WA, (visit link) SA, (visit link) & QLD (visit link)
** I truly sympathise that visitors from the Northern Territory, Tasmania, Hawaii, etc will find it VERY HARD to have certain distance bands with a cache to find. **
** Hopefully exception (1.1) will help. **
IF you have zones where there are NO CACHES, or if you have to prepare a fresh list as you are completing an extra Well-Travelled Challenge, and there are zones that you can only find one cache in, please contact the CO (Cache Owner), and we'll see what may need to be used for exceptions!
Remember that this is a game and is supposed to be fun!
NOTE: If your list of qualifying caches do not meet the challenge rules your posted found log will be deleted.
