Pub lunches have been absent from the Adelaide scene for a while, it's time for another one. What better time than to join in the festivities of a Travel Bug heading into space to the International Space Station (ISS)?
The event will be between 1200-1400 hours. Come and enjoy lunch, or a just a quick drink, at The Colonel Light Hotel, 141 Currie St, in the city, all welcome. Then stay for the launch between 1415-1445 if your time permits.
Mr Barramundi has semi-retired from caching and, after organising about 55 pub events over six years, has retired from being the master of pub lunches and dinners. Is it time for somebody else to take over the mantle - should this Adelaide tradition continue?
So we are attempting to continue the trend and use the ISS transporter launch as an excuse. Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir also.
A booking has been made for 30 at this stage, but it can be increased. For those who want a quick turn around pre-ordering is available, the menu can be found at
