rediguana is a New Zealand cacher who has made many trips over the ditch to cache in fair Australia.
The cache is located on Karunda road between Tailem Bend and Karunda. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.
rediguana is a reputable cacher and is currently 3rd in NZ for number of finds. http://tinyurl.com/b5t2gft He has some impressive statistics, and the easiest way to sum them up is to use his listed Occupation from his gc.com profile: Cache Slut. Amoung his statistics is placing New Zealand's first puzzle, first crypto, and first micro (35mm) in a single cache and finding a cache in 18 different countries (and 20 out of the 50 US states -- that's more than many US cachers!). Like Moneydork (one of his best geocaching friends), rediguana has cached all over New Zealand and in every Australian state. He was the secretary/treasurer of the very first NZ Mega event in 2012.
Skippy and I met rediguana on a couple of occasions so it was like seeing an old friend when we arrived at the NZ Mega to see his smiling, energetic face. He bounced around the NZ Mega like he had energy to spare and his caching is no different! He comes to Australia often so don't pass up the opportunity to meet him.
