Part of a series of geocaches that should take you about 1-2 hours to complete on foot Following the Daffodil Bay Loop Track! Get your walking shoes on, tell the kids to leave the ipod in the car, you're going on a treasure hunt through some gorgeous Sandy Point Scenery!
It is possible to take in a couple of other existing caches on this loop, so make sure you have them all loaded! Park the car at the car park at Daffodill Bay (this is where the loop ends) and cross the road to the western grassy area and if you follow the trees around on the southern side you'll find the start of the loop track. The track does cross the road in one place, please take care with your kids, there can be some wannabe rally drivers on these roads! In another place it comes out next to a road, and if you walk down past the toilet, the track begins again.
There are a number of staircases up and down on the loop track. I wouldn't recommend for pushchairs, unless you don't mind carrying up and down.
This cache is a 1 litre camo sistema container. At the time of placing it contained a logbook, pencil and a 'First To Find' prize. If you find a baggy with 'FTF Prize' on it, feel free to take it with you if you want, or leave it for the next person. It is not swag, so you don't need to swap it for something else unless you want to.
Please replace cache as found.
