4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This should be a quick park and grab due to the cache being in an obvious spot.

This is a quick easy find. This bridge for a kid with a bike is the only link from Carcoola to Pinjarra in order to visit your mates in town. Today they have a rather sturdy and robust bridge made of steel and I-beams. When I was a kid, this was a all timber bridge that was noisy as the boards moved and rattled under the wheels of your bike. It was a mini adventure just crossing this bridge as it wasn't only noisy, it wobbled and moved about as if it were a suspension bridge instead of a 'solid' wooden bridge. And if that wasn't enough...you could see the water flowing through the holes in some of the boards. Thinking about it now, we should have been a lot more cautious on that bridge...but what kid thinks about that stuff! The cache is a small 400ml camo sistema with the usual log, pencil, FTF an some goodies to swap. It is in the usual obvious spot...but be stealthy as there may be a few muggles watching. WELL DONE! FTF goes to landseka.
