The cache is located in the township of Cambrai. It is sited on a road verge, for an easy driveby find.
Cambrai is a small country town which is well worth a visit. Originally known as 'Rhine Villa', Cambrai is a thriving farming district.
The nearby Marne Weir marks the start of the Marne River Valley scenic tourist drive and forms part of a loop which can take in Mannum and Walker Flat.. On the 1st Sunday of each month, the local Cambrai Agricultural Museum opens from 11am to 3pm. An interesting detour is to Shell Hill which has deposits of oyster shells that are over five million years old. Stop in the historic Cambrai Hotel where you can get accommodation and daily meals with overnight packages available. There is also a Red Cross op shop which is more than worth your time to visit.
The cache is a small magnetic container (painted black) which only has room for the log book and pencil. It is best you bring your own scribble stick just in case.
Although the Geozone is sited at the entrance to a private property's driveway, you do not need to enter the property. In any event the householder has given permission for the placement of the cache.
