Who is this famous figure?
Born March 29, 1899 in Bowie, Texas. Graduated from Bowie High
School in 1917, Attended Rice Institute (now Rice University),
served the United States Navy in World War I, was named District
Attorney for Wichita, Archer, and Young counties, was an Attorney
with a Private Practice and was the Governor of Texas. He died
September 24, 1959.
This trivia cache is perfect for passing the GPS off to your
children. It's a fun little bit of Social Studies outside of the
