10am, Sunday 26th April
City of Sydney Park, St Peters
In conjunction with the City of Sydney Council, Geocaching NSW would like to invite all geocachers (both members and non-members) to help celebrate this year’s International CITO weekend by lending a hand to clean up part of the City of Sydney Park at St Peters. Your participation in this event will earn you the coveted 2015 International CITO Weekend Souvenir.
We will meet at the published coordinates adjacent to the Alan Davidson Oval at 10am. Following a briefing, we will move off and do our bit for the environment. The event will conclude at approximately 12pm
Please ensure you bring gloves, sunscreen, sensible clothing (long pants and sleeves), hat, proper footwear and water. Those grabby claws are great too, if you have one! It would also be a good idea to bring along a plastic bucket for any sharp objects you may find. The City of Sydney Parks Operations Manager will supply us with rubbish collection bags on the day and will also make arrangements for the removal of the rubbish we collect.
Access to the parking area is off Euston Rd (see the additional Parking waypoint). Just drive in and there are a number of places to park. For public transport options, visit www.transportnsw.info.
Please post a “Will Attend” log and add this event to your watchlist so you receive any announcements.
