Geocache Description:

So you thought Manu bay was only for surfing?

The launching ramp at the other end of the Manu Bay reserve allows direct launching into the Tasman Sea. Off the coast, snapper and gurnard can be found and in the January to March period, albacore along with striped and black marlin.
A fishing tournament is held by the Raglan Sport Fishing Club at Manu Bay every year on the Sunday of Auckland Anniversary Weekend (towards the end of January).

Some perfer to fish from the rocks at this end of the beach...

Cache is a traditional small sistema (1 litre) and is NOT in a flax bush, though very close.
