Parking is close to this cache but the very short walk to GZ is a bit of a slope and uneven.
We have named this cache in memory of Caroline Mathilda Innes who in 1900 was the first woman that Queensland registered as a Pharmaceutical Chemist. She was married to Sydney North Innes and in 1912 they bought 1,710 acres around Palmers Creek and then built Barolin Homestead in 1929. They donated 23 acres of this property to be used as a public reserve. The resulting township of Innes Park was named for the Innes Family in 1986.
The cache is an eclipse tin camouflaged with natural material in a beautiful beach area where there is all you would want for a lovely day out.Swimming,BBQ,
picnic tables, skateboad facility, toilets, covered shelters, beachball court, boating, fishing and plenty of birdlife.
