7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the beautiful Loch Luna Game Reserve along with several other caches placed on the same day.

I suggest you complete the caches in the following order:
Luna Pipes
Luna View
Luna Stump
Luna Mining
Luna Boulders
Luna Garden
Luna Hollow

You are obviously free to choose your own route, but this is the order in which the caches were placed and it makes for a sensible drive through the various tracks.

The entrance to Loch Luna is at the back of Lake Bonney. There is no fee to visit Loch Luna for the day, but if you plan to stay and camp, which I highly recommend, you do need to pay a fee (Jan 2012 = $7/car). The area as you drive in is not particulary enticing, especially the drainage channel, but as you continue in and get closer to the water, the Luna landscape is lovely.

This site appears to have once been the location of a pumping station judging by the small ruin and the pipes lying on the ground.

Dogs are allowed at Loch Luna, but should be on a leash.
