Our brother-in-law Zack has provided the beautiful paintings that we scan and use on our finder cards.
Every one of our caches has these cards that geocachers can keep as a souvenir of their find if they choose to do so.
Zack was kind enough to provide some paintings by request for us to use including the Finding Fungi series, our travelling Gnomadic AusTracker Gnome, the beautiful flowers on Eclipseae Mintalis and our earthcaches (Bridging the Gap - An Accidental Meeting, Pinnacles - Enigmas in Stone, and Lake Thetis - Living Fossils). These "virtual" caches don't have physical containers but we do take the cards with us to events so if you have found these caches and would like a finder card you just need to ask. Likewise, with our other caches, if for some reason you have missed out on a card, we will usually have some with us at events.
Sadly, Zack recently succumbed to cancer and his fabulous collection of art will no longer be expanded, so we have placed this cache in his honour. He would love it here with the beautiful view of the lake and all the birdlife.
We do however have quite a few paintings for many caches to come although we will have to use alternatives for some caches.
Now to the cache...
It is a small ammobox, a bit off the main track so not many people would venture here.
It contains the usual items together with finder cards (of course), a prize and certificates for FTF and 2TF.
