Re-cycle or Recycle Sixteen (Wellington) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheCur8or: As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
As the MEGA is this weekend I am archiving these now. Please remember:
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is part of the Re-cycle or Recycle series placed on the cycleway between Petone and Wellington. The only way to access these caches is to walk or cycle the cycle-way.

This is NOT a park and grab series as there is no stopping on the Motorway.

All containers used for this series are either recycled or recycleable to keep it to theme.

The caches placed on this cycle-way are for your enjoyment and safety was considered, therefore NO caches were placed on the armco barriers on the outside (roadside) of the cycle-way. All information as to what you may need to access these codes is on the cache page please read carefully.

For safety it is recommended that you start this cache series at Ngauranga, work to the northernmost cache, and then return to the start. If you access the caches from Petone you are forced to walk or cycle on the road shoulder close to high-speed traffic for the first 900 metres. This stretch of road is not a motorway but a very busy State Highway, so it is legal to walk or ride on the shoulder of the road but this would not be very pleasant. I strongly recomend that you start and finish this section of the trail at Ngauranga.

You are not required to walk or cycle on the road or cross the railway lines. Crossing the railway lines is illegal, dangerous and may incur a $10000 fine.
