Geocache Description:

Well there are plenty of Wheels around here. Not least the massive one that dominates the skyline in this part of central Manchester. The container is a magnetic nano... you will need to BYOP

On the 15th June 1996 The IRA demolished this part of Manchester with A car bomb.

Thankfully nobody lost their life in the explosion although 212 people were injured.
A nearby pillar box was the only object to remain undamaged in the immediate area and now carries a plaque commemorating the event

Since then the entire area has been regenerated with an enormous wheel offering a great view of the whole city (even if the commentary is a bit annoying) This cache is in the shadow of the wheel if you look end on at it so a lot of stealth is needed to retrive

note that the tall buildings around here make GPS reception sketchy at best, the Co-ords are as accurate as I can get them but they may well show a considerable distance out
