The Xanthorrhoea (pronounced Zanth orr ree aaah) Loop is another
pleasant stroll within the Tidbinbilla Nature reserve. The
Xanthorrhoea plants, commonly known as grass trees are in fact
neither but are related to lilies.
The return walk itself is about 2.5 k and can be done in less
than an hour but you may be tempted to continue the walk up to
Gibraltar Peak - that walk is one not recommended by this bunny -
errrr fox in the middle of summer as the firetrail is very exposed
with little shade. However there is a traditional cache as well as
an earthcache to be discovered.
