Geocache Description:

A cache next to Sir Basil Arthur Park

This park is named after a long-serving MP for Timaru, Sir Basil Arthur. In 1962, at 33 years of age, he was the youngest MP to enter Parliament. He died in 1985 after serving Timaru for 23 years as a Labour Party MP, and the succeeding by-election saw National elected in the region.

The cache contains a log sheet only - you will need to bring your own pen. You will NOT need to climb the fence to access this cache. Do NOT touch the Telecom box on the ground (it's nothing to do with that!). As far as parking is concerned - consider this a roadside cache.

No hints yet. Cache is too big to fit inside the grey 'buried cables' telephone cables container near the ground.
